ParlyPay started with a simple but recurring problem: cross-border payments fail when trust breaks down between the sender and the receiver.
As a founder working across digital services, international transactions, and platform-based payments, I repeatedly encountered the same issues:
- Payments sent with no delivery guarantee
- Clients refusing to release funds after work was completed
- Businesses losing money to chargebacks and fraud
- No structured way to resolve disputes across borders
According to the World Bank, global remittance flows to low- and middle-income countries reached over $650 billion annually, yet dispute resolution and transaction protection remain largely manual, fragmented, or non-existent across most corridors.
